I would like to be able to fire an ajax transaction on the server without
having to refresh a components; for example, I would like to click a button
and update a database, write a file or update a session variabile without
having to refresh() something on the page.
Is there a way to achieve this? For now I use a refresh() on a fake JSF
component, but this is not very neat.
