Hi Daniel,
Jason Lee did the initial implementation of the Facelets work for
Woodstock. He's often online via IRC at irc.freenode.net in the ##jsf
and #jsftemplating channels. BTW, he also did much of the Facelets
compatibility in JSFTemplating.

Yes. The Woodstock build provides a taglib for this case. However,
the testing has
been very minimal and the documentation non existent. I have been able
to convert

The taglib XML is in the webui-jsf.jar and is called
"woodstock.taglib.xml".
Its namespace id is "http://www.sun.com/webui/webuijsf
