What happens in the browser when you increase the size to over 2 GB or
to a size
that fails to upload ? Does the browser allow you to pick that file in
its chooser ?

That is what I am seeing. The browser chooser will not allow me to pick
an excessively large file
from its file chooser. In fact the "size" field in the chooser is "0".
