The table does not have default filters under the column headings, but
you can add a drop down filter menu to the actions bar of the table. The
drop down menu is used to define basic filters, but also contains a
"custom filter" option which opens a filter panel. The filter panel is
an area where you can define your own custom filters. There is an
example below -- see the TLD docs for more information.

That said, if you really want to add a drop down to each column heading,
you can customize the table layout via JSF facets. However, I do not
want to discuss that right now. For a list of supported facets, please
see the TLD docs for the table, tableColumn, and tableRowGroup tags.
