That's exactly what happened to me, if I recall correctly. Building on
my linux box without access to an X11 display caused the build to fail.
Granting perms to an X11 display fixed my problem. Building on Windows,
fwiw, did not have that problem, as Windows has a GUI built in.

When you get the error again, please paste it into an email. I
have heard that if you do not have access to the current DISPLAY (on
linux/solaris) that the build fails during some of the @annotation
stuff. But I think the error message indicates something about not
being able to access the display.
