No JCache support in Shoal?

Hello,

I was curious about whether there are any plans to support JSR-107
through Shoal GMS?

I received a reply on a forum thread...

https://www.java.net/forum/topic/glassfish/glassfish/jcache-jsr-107-sup
port-glassfish

...suggesting that Coherence was the closest thing to JCache support in
Glassfish, but of course it isn't open source. Also, it struck me that
Shoal would be a natural place to house a distributed caching
implementation, running over Grizzly.

There are plenty of mentions on the web of "Distributed State Cache",
which sounds an awful lot like it could form the basis of a JCache
implementation?

This PDF mentions
http://docs.huihoo.com/shoal/ShoalJXTAOverview.pdf (page 25)

"Possible Shoal Cache implementation being looked at."

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Andy
