Shoal will be part of this migration to Kenai infrastructure from the
current CollabNet infrastructure.
We should see some impact of a few days with respect to the SVN
repositories - the project pages may be affect for a longer period.

Hi there
This is a head's up that the second wave of migration to Kenai will
begin this weekend.
The plan is to lock all 161 repositories about 10 PM PST, Sunday night
Nov. 21.
We have identified 13 priority project repositories which will be
migrated in the following order:
First: Glassfish-SVN
Next:
* embedded-glassfish
* glassfish-samples
* glassfish-svn
* hk2
* jaxb2-commons-svn
* jsp
* jstl
* mojarra
* maven-antrun-extended-plugin
* maven-glassfish-plugin
* shoal
* uel
* javaserverfaces-spec-public
(Sorry, only SVN projects can be included in this priority group.)
These will be followed by the remainder of the projects listed on the
GlassFish Migration Wiki
<
http://kenai.com/projects/glassfish-migration/pages/Wave2Projects>. At
the conclusion of this, all 161 projects, plus the 15 already migrated,
will be running in Kenai.
Timing
*Expect all projects to be locked Sunday night.*
Our first goal is to enable the GlassFish SVN repository. This may
happen as early as Monday however many things have to be coordinated.
We'll provide an update as soon as this becomes ready.
The remainder of the priority repositories should be available for use,
by mid-week (Wed. Nov. 24).
Finally, the rest of the projects, bug data, and web-site files will be
enabled during the course of the following two, to three weeks.
Actions you should take
*User Credentials*
If you have not activated your new java.net user credentials, please do
that now. (beta.java.net, select login. If you did not receive your
welcome e-mail, click "lost password."
*Sync your local source copy*
You should take action now to Sync. your source code copies.
Projects from Collabnet servers will be read-only but we will be
switching projects over to Kenai, as they become ready so we cannot give
a precise target date for this, for each project. Once they are
switched, you will not be able to access the old repository from Collabnet.
*E-Mail*
Starting, this Sunday, we will need to use the internal e-mail alias:
glassfish_dev_ww_at_sun.com
(We will try to migrate this over to the new Kenai list, after this
migration effort is completed, but that is not certain at this point.)
Migration updates will be posted to the GlassFish Migration Wiki
<
http://kenai.com/projects/glassfish-migration/pages/Home>
*Prepare to update your web-site files*
Project Site Managers and Administrators should look for instructions
that you'll need to follow, to update your web-site. You can review the
migration procedure at the GlassFish Migration Wiki "Guide for Migrating
Your Site
<
http://kenai.com/projects/glassfish-migration/pages/GuideForMigratingYourSite>".
*CVS will migrate to SVN*
Reminder -- The migration effort will attempt to migrate all CVS
archives to SVN. If this cannot be done without error, the original CVS
archive will be attached to your project. SVN has stronger integration
with Kenai so this will be your best option. If there are errors and
your repository is not switched, we can discuss options for additional
conversion methods.
*Repository Archives*
Repository archives, exported by Collabnet will be saved indefinitely
so, if your project determines a need for this, you can request it.
However, do not expect to receive these before Mid. January (unless
there is an urgent issue).
Cheers,
-- Ed Bratt
