Hello Volunteers,

Sorry we've been quiet, here, even in the face of activity in other
specs, such as MVC and JSF. We're just about ready to hand off Public
Review of JSF 2.3 to JCP.

As for us here in Servlet 4.0, we started the JCP JSR Renowal Ballot, as
some of you may have heard from your EC representatives. If you have a
chance, please lobby them to vote yes on the renewal ballot.

You can consider this email a heads up that Shing-wai and I will be
coming to you all in the coming weeks with some details about how we're
going to complete Servlet 4.0. As we stated at JavaOne, we're planning
to finish up Servlet 4.0 in CY 2017.

We will continue to use our java.net JIRA as the source of truth for the
remainder of the effort [2].

Thanks,

Ed

service until we finish Servlet 4.0.
