Hi Mark,
     The changebars are automatically generated by Framemaker. Yes there
were
some places where the formatting was inconsistent and hence was fixed. That
lead to the change bars. Unfortunately we cannot manually remove only
certain
change bars. Either we remove all the change bars at least for the
chapter or
we just live with the change bars for now. The other option is to remove
the
change bars altogether between drafts and that way you will get diffs
only from the
last draft. Let me know if that's an option - we can work on doing that
going
forward.
