As indicated earlier, we are respinning the 1.1 maintenance release
due to changes in Servlet 3 and to support Managed Beans and JSR 299.
I just submitted the changelog to the JCP and the review period should
start early next week. Here are the 1.1 changelog, API and spec:

Once the review starts we have three weeks during which we can make
