Debugging the JSFTemplating code

Hi All,

I am working on the Sailfin Admin GUI which extends the Glassfish admin GUI.

I would like to know if there is any extra steps required to debug the code.

I am using NetBeans 5.5.1 on ubuntu. Here is what I have done.

   1. Checked out the source code for glassfish/admin-gui, sailfin and
      jsftemplating projects.
   2. Opened the project admin-gui and jsftemplating in NetBeans
   3. Started the GlassFish application server with debug on
         1. When the app server starts it waits for the NB to connect to
the port 9009. I connect and the connection is established.
   4. Now if I set a break-point in the admin-gui code and go to the
screen where a call is made, the debugger works fine and shows the
break point reached in the code.
   5. However if I set a breakpoint in some JSFTemplating java class,
then the code break does not occur.
         1. Specifically I tried setting a breakpoint in
            com.sun.jsftemplating.layout.template.EventParsingCommand
         2. I click on the httpService.jsf screen and was expecting the
code to break here when it tries to locate the handler by
            reading the Handler.map
         3. I have generated a new Handler.map which the code is not
able to find. Hence I was trying to debug the same. The
exception does occur in this code but the breakpoint is not
            reached.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks and Warm Rgds,
Irfan
