cvs2svn conversion script

Hi All,

In reference to the cvs to svn conversion: I have used the cvs2svn script
before to convert a cvs repository to svn with some success. I haven't been
on the project long and I'm not sure who would actually do the conversion,
but the cvs2svn script works pretty well. I only did the top-skimming method
and left the cvs repository up (not sure if this is possible). The way I
approached it was to cut off check-ins on the Friday of a week following a
production release. Did the conversion over the weekend. We lost all the
history moving over because of the approach we took, but, we rarely had to
go back (spacing it a week following the released allowed for a little time
to handle any P1 issues (severe problem, fix required etc..) once we were
in the clear we froze the trunk and did the conversion, that following
Monday life was SVN all the way.

The cvs2svn script has options for a full conversion as well, I do remember
having some issues with it, have to look back in my email and see if I
captured anything that would be useful.

Thanks for all the Welcomes on the list, I haven't been getting the mail
from the list because I signed up for digest and it hasn't come yet.
