Here are my thoughts on how to move forward in the near future with the
jsf-extensions project.
1. Merge in Jacob's stuff from the Facelets demo branch to the HEAD
2. Merge in any changes from the AJAX_JAVAONE_2006 branch the HEAD
3. Do another snapshot release
4. Talk to the principals from the ajax4jsf project and see about
getting them to contribute any novel parts from their approach so that
we can all use the same codebase.
5. Talk to Ted Goddard from IceFaces about the possibility of having him
also contribute any novel ideas.
Basically, I'd like to make jsf-extensions be the home for AJAX and JSF
development for future inclusion in the JSF 2.0 spec. Of course, the JSF
2.0 EG will consider other sources of innovation as well, such as Shale.
