I have been contacted by Brandi Shailer, Senior Acquisitions Editor at McGraw-Hill Professional (who also publish as the
Oracle Press). Brandi is looking for an author to write about JMS 2.0. I offered to pass on her invitation to the expert
group (and wider community), so here it is. See also the attachment.

If you're interested, please feel free to contact Brandi directly.

Nigel -

Thank you so much for the chat and your offers to help. I appreciate the information on JMS and the leads for other Java
EE areas. I'm excited about the opportunity to have some great books available on Java EE next year.

As discussed, I'm seeking author (or co-author) candidates to submit proposals on JMS 2.0 (as well as JAX-RS 2.0, CDI,
and other Java EE areas of interest). My ideal book would take a deep dive into these specific areas of Java EE rather
than trying to provide a comprehensive overview of the platform. I'm interested in moving a book forward as quickly as
possible, and would like to have something available no later than JavaOne 2013 - certainly sooner, if possible. I
welcome conversations with anyone you believe might be interested in pursuing this opportunity. I know we have a great
opportunity to advance these technologies further into the developer community with the right author and our great
Oracle Press brand. I'm attaching a proposal form here which covers everything I'd need to move forward, but certainly
welcome exploratory conversations by phone or email anytime!

Thank you again for your help, Nigel. I look forward to finding great authors for these topics!

Best,
Brandi
