     The first thing I'd like to find out is whether there is anywhere else in the EJB or Java EE spec(s) which describe
     (or allow) the use in a Java EE container of JMS resources which do not support JTA transactions. This may be a new
     use case we need to define when clarifying the spec.


I was a consultant before joining JBoss, and I could always use a non JCA connection factory. I don't think this is
specific to JBoss... (both on JMS and JDBC).

And as an user, there are use cases where I don't want to use the JCA connection factory.

I would maybe specify on the docs that's possible for the user to use a non-JCA Connection Factory on a container if
there isn't a wording for that already, but that won't belong to the JMS specification. Either EE or JCA specs.
