You are welcome. It is a portable deployment approach.

You could also extend ResourceConfig.

@ApplicationPath("/")
public class MyApplication extends ResourceConfig {

    public MyApplication() {
        registerClasses(ClusterResource.class);
        register(new JacksonFeature());
    }
}
