All,
I committed[1] some changes to the wadl.java.net project yesterday that
might of of interest to some of you. The primary change of interest is
that the project now generates Jersey Client code rather than using its
own framework. For this reason the project now depends on Jersey 1.8,
will move up to 1.9 for version 1.1 final, and JDK 1.6 by implication.
Having said that the code generated should work with older versions of
Jersey
This is almost a straight upgrade of the original code from Marc, with a
few changes to deal with methods with multiple content types. It should
in most cases a drop in replacement although it is recommended to use
the version of the constructor that takes a Client as creating them can
be expensive.
If you have strong opinions on what the tool should be generating, now
would be a good time to air them, you can download the latest SNAPSHOT from:
http://download.java.net/maven/2/org/jvnet/ws/wadl/wadl-dist/1.1-SNAPSHOT/
There are other changes in this transaction designed to make it easier
to integrate into IDE's; but I won't expound on them here.
Thanks to Marc and Pavel for their patience and review,
Gerard
