Martin Grotzke originally contributed the initial work then the Jersey
team took over with various contributions and fixes from the community.
I don't think the issue per-say is with the jersey-spring integration,
it is fundamentally related to JAXB and Spring integration (see the
Unmarshaller interface). So some research is required to understand
what can be done there first. Then it may or may not require changes
to the Jersey and Spring integration and/or updates to the user guide.
