Jersey users:
I have a licensing question. It is noted on the Jersey site that the
code is governed under a dual license "CDDL+GPL". Does this mean that a
person may elect to use either the CDDL or the GPL? Or does it mean
that both the CDDL and the GPL license apply?
This dual license scheme seems to be similar to JAXB which under its FAQ
states that a user can elect to use either the CDDL or the GPL.
Q. What are the JAXB 2.0 licensing terms?
(
https://jaxb.dev.java.net/faq/index.html)
Metro is released under the dual license of CDDL
<
http://www.sun.com/cddl/> and GPLv2 with classpath exception
<
http://www.gnu.org/software/classpath/license.html> . What that means
is that as an user, you only need to accept one of the two licenses.
CDDL is an OSI-approved open-source license that allows free
redistribution, commercial usage, modifications, and much more. See the
CDDL description and rationale page
<
http://www.sun.com/cddl/CDDL_why_details.html> from Sun for more info
about CDDL. For more about GPLv2 with classpath exception, see the
license section of "Free and Open Source Java FAQ."

Would this be the same for Jersey?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tyler
