Not particularly.
Development areas underway are:
1) OSGi
2) Hypermedia.
I want the former to be definitely in the next release, where as the
latter may or may not depending on progress and feedback.
Otherwise it is fixing issues/features that developers would like to
see fixed.

Note that 2) is adding features to the client API for proxies that
loosely couple between the client and server (not as tightly coupled
as resource-based proxies).
