I think so, but working out exactly what and why is another matter :-) I
gather that for certain plugins and versions there is an implicit
dependency on certain maven versions.

It is sometimes a painful process of elimination that i am reluctant to
go down at the moment to get things working on something less that 2.0.8
because it has taken quite an effort to get to this current point where
something works at all!

I have been using 2.0.9.
