Hi Martin,
Isn't the effort on the upstream side? Is part of the JAXB release process, making sure ALL upstream consumers are happy with a given JAXB RC?

Agree, however with so many upstream integration points of jaxb each release requires quite a lot of effort. We're pushing promoted builds of
2.2.5 to maven already (besides daily snapshots) so there is a way to use the latest greatest if required.
