I would like to announce the version 0.4 release of Hyperajaxb2.
Hyperjaxb2 provides relational persistence layer for XML data using on
Java Architecture for XML Binding (JAXB) and Hibernate, a well-known ORM
tool.
Version 0.4 release is primarily targeted on support for legacy database
schemas:
* Support for <bag/> and <idbag/> mappings as alternatives to the
default <list/> mapping - removes the need for list index column.
* Support for formula in class discriminators - removes the need for
discriminator column in the database.
New features provide even more control on the target database schema.
This essentially means, that it's now easier to map XML Schemas onto
existing database schemas.
Version 0.4 also features documentation extensions. I hope new users
will find the new "Worked example" section quite useful.
