Please consider those poor unfortunates who need to
run cross-platform. Until Mac releases 5, we are
at a disadvantage.
I don't argue the merit, but the timing.

In fact it's been long decided that JAXB 2.0 will *require* J2SE 5.0.
For example, the entire java -> schema direction is based on metadata.
