Your question seems to be "how to write a correct XML Schema?" than "How
to use JAXB with my schema?"

If you are having hard time writing XML Schema, you are not alone. Try
using RELAX NG (http://relaxng.org/). You can even compile it directly
with JAXB, and there's an excellent tool called Trang that can read
RELAX NG and produce the equivalent XML Schema for you.
