I tried the

java -Xmx800m -Xss100m -jar D:\jwsdp-1.2\jaxb\lib\jaxb-xjc.jar schema.xsd

option and it worked!

I tried using editbin to increase the stack size. This solved the problem of StackOverflowError. But now, I get OutOfMemoryError.

Still not able to compile the xsd.

Subject: StackOverflowError

Hi,

I saw some posts in this interest group where it was mentioned that StackOverflowError was observed when generating classes from a big xsd. I am facing a similar problem. The size of my xsd is around 600 K. What do I need to do? I tried the -Xmx256m -Xss10m options for java and also tried the stackSize setting in ant. But that did not solve the problem. I am working on a Win2K machine. What should be done?

Regards
Mihir
