FYI, With JAXB we have resorted to telling JAXB to use arrays instead of
Lists just to get the proper types in the generated API.
I look forward to generics in Java and JAXB but I can't say I look forward
to the nasty Java syntax that was chosen to make C++ folks happy I imagine.
