Thanks to one of our subscribers who points out that deleting

     ${JDEVELOPER_HOME}/j2ee/home/jaxb-rt-1.0-ea.jar

eliminated the java.lang.reflect.IncompatibleClassChangeError he was
seeing when trying to use JAXB 1.0 with OC4J. This exchange led him to
this solution:
