Of course, here is the usual task: we've made some bug-fixes to the
code today and the plugin needs to be re-uploaded into the repo. Hope
it's not much of a burden to you...
A, take a look at this plugin's code, you might find it tempting to
base your maven-2 JAXB-2.x plugin on it, since it does not use the
JAXB Ant Task internally, and the up-to-date check is properly
incorporated.

The java.net project for the Maven 2 Jaxb-1.x plugin is announcing its
initial version 1.0-SNAPSHOT. The project can be found here:

This Maven-2 plugin wraps the JAXB-1.x XJC compiler and provides the
capability to generate java sources from schemas.
It is expected to go out of snapshot state in a couple of weeks,
giving some time for peer-reviewing.
