btw, right now i have to first generate using wsimport, touch the
schema(s) in question and THEN run the jaxb xjc task... very annoying..

Not have "default value constructors" is a real PITA when trying to
create new instances...

wsimport does not support jaxb plugins. wsimport works with XJC thru
programmatic interface to access the XJC functionality.
If you think this is something you need please file an enhancement
request on the jaxws issue tracker and we will address it in the future
release of jaxws.
