Thanks Vivek,
Sad to hear Sun is going to wait so long to include JAXWS 2.1.1. Now that I know what jars are needed for the client I might try a performance test to see the advantages of 2.1.1 over 2.0 included with the 1.6 jre. I am using 2.1 for the server and plan to upgrade to 2.1.1 this week.
I bet Arun is not happy over that decision also. Seems to everyone's advantage when an upgrade is available for the jre to add in the latest JAXWS and you guys are doing one amazing job with JAXWS.

The release notes mentions the jar dependency at:
https://jax-ws.dev.java.net/nonav/2.1.1/docs/ReleaseNotes.html#Jar_dependency.
You need all these jars both on the client or server.

We tried to convince them to integrate 2.1.1 in JDK6 but JDK team thinks
its not that big issue after all :-( We are still pursuing it but its
not very likely to happen. The realistic expectation is to have 2.1.x in
JDK7.
We are working with the JDK team to see atleast what can be done to ease
the endorsed mechanism. The release notes mentions the 4 api jars that
you need to override using endorsed mechanism.
