Thanks for the resposes. I have not heard of anyone doing a SOAP stack evaluation for some time and last time they did they compared a really old version of the Sun implementation when a newer one with FastInfoSet was available which I thought was not fair.
   
  Although I have a lot on my plate to do let me know when the other group doing the performance work has something available I would be more than happy to try it out.

Yes, the performance is still very high on our priority list, and it's
being worked on.

Our current benchmark shows that RI 2.1 is already no slower than any of
the existing SOAP stack --- for example it leave Axis2 in the dust.

I think we should be able to release those benchmark results eventually,
but I'm just not up to date on that right now. It's being done by a
different team.

Yeah, although I'm not aware of any comprehensive benchmark between
various SOAP stacks lately. Do you know of any?
