Hi All.
I ran into an itneresting issue with using the latest jaxws from nightly builds. When I go to compile to create a jar for my client app I get the error about having 2.0 instead of 2.1 in the class loaded and to use endorsed director to override 1.6 JDK libraries. Now I tried that and got error messages about not having apt and then ant class files. I tried working around thos issues and go exception about ExceptionInIntializationError.
Never had these problems with JAXWS 2.0.
Since this showed up because I compiled my war for 2.1 which always compiled okay but been awhile since I needed to compile my client jar and I got message about the client jar needing JAXWS 2.1 since the war was created using it and thier now some dependancies because of it.
Question is if I finally get the client jar to compile will I need to distribute the 2.1 jars to the client? I am using the released JDK 1.6 and am trying to avoid using JAXWS 2.1 on the client side.
Since I am on a deadline and do not want to run into compatability issues I think I will go back to JAXWS 2.0.
Regards,
-Tony
