The question arose from the fact that (at least here in Germany) just because a thing effectively is publicly accessible does not neccessarily mean that it may be publicly used.

The release is in a public maven repository and the announcement went to the users forum too. I’m not sure how we could make it any more public. Thus my confusion with your question.

With "may the software get published" I meant whether I may forward that software to non-EG-member. Maybe you just published it for the EG members and do not want the general public to see it at this state?

Hello Markus,
Not sure what policy do you have in mind as well as what do you mean by “may this software get published” comment. This software got published - that’s what the announcement is about.
There is no list of resolved items unfortunately at this point yet.

What is the policy? May this software get published or is that just for the EG's further discussion?
Is there a list somewhere what JAX-RS 2.1 items are found in that milestone?

Hello all,
I am happy to announce, that the first non-snapshot development build of JAX-RS 2.1 API (2.1-m01) has been released. It is already <
https://maven.java.net/content/repositories/releases/javax/ws/rs/javax.ws.rs-api/2.1-m01/> accessible from mave.java.net repository. Please allow a few hours before trying to download the bits from the central maven repository.
Thank you,
Marek
