RE: Re: JWSDP 1.6 AND jaxb 2.0

Hello,

I'm currently using the JAXB 2.0 JARs that come with JAX-WS 2.0 FCS. I've downloaded the last three FCS releases of JAXB 2.0, however, and whenever I do a "diff" between jaxb-impl.jar from JAX-WS 2.0 FCS and the JAXB 2.0 RI versions, they appear to always be different. Does JAX-WS 2.0 FCS actually use the RI version of JAXB 2.0? If so, which version? Is there any harm in using the JAXB 2.0 version shipped with JAX-WS 2.0 with JWSDP 1.6, or should I use the JAXB 2.0 RI version?

Thanks!

Ryan

Hi Ramesh,

Thanks for responding. I am basically using JWSDP 1.6 for both client and server-side implementation of web services. I have replaced the jaxb*.jar files that come with JWSDP 1.6 with the 2.0 JARs that come with JAX-WS 2.0, and everything seems to be working fine with my current testing. I just wanted to know if there were any specific problems with using the latest JAXB 2.0 JAR files with JWSDP 1.6.

Thanks,
Ryan

Hi Ryan:

Can you please elaborate on what you are trying to do? Specially with which component of JWSDP 1.6, you are trying to use JAXB 2.0.
