Put the log4j jar under <JWSDP_HOME>/common/lib and restart Tomcat. That
should solve the problem.

Subject: Logging and Using Log4J

1] My application is using log4J for logging. Has anyone tried using
Log4J with the JWSDP 1.2? I get errors like:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/log4j/Logger
I'm using a property file to configure log4j.
