Thanks to both Mischa and Neal for the help. I ended up going the JDK 1.4
route. I had installed JWSDP-1.0 using jdk1.3.1_03 and then switched my
environment variables to j2sdk1.4.0. Turned out I also needed to edit
JAVA_HOME in ${JWSDP_HOME}\bin\setenv.bat to point to j2sdk1.4.0.
