Hi,
Regarding the 2.2.8-X line, which runs parallel to the 2.2.Y (Y > 8) line,
perhaps it's an idea to put some information on the JSF project page (
https://javaserverfaces.java.net/) explaining this?
It may be confusing for the audience why specifically 2.2.8 is being
updated for years, even though 2.2.9 and higher have long ago been released.
Something like: "2.2.8 is the special Mojarra line for WebLogic 12.2.x
where fixes gets extra scrutiny" (or something like that) could help.
Thoughts?
Kind regards,
Arjan Tijms
