Hi,
I've been trying for a while to get JSF up and running from the sources (In
spare time when I get it). I managed to achieve this for 2.2.0, however
this doesn't seem stable yet as there were many issues with this and my
existing architecture. I've moved back to the 2.1.6 tag and I've managed to
build the jars, however, I'm getting the issue :
(class: com/aplos/core/component/datatable/DataTableRenderer, method:
encodeDynamicCell signature:
(Ljavax/faces/context/FacesContext;Lcom/aplos/core/component/datatable/DataT
able;Lorg/primefaces/component/columns/Columns;)V) Incompatible argument to
function
When I try to run my application using the new jar files. I experienced
this before while running the tests on the JSF source and it was resolved by
using Glassfish instead of Tomcat in the test environment. I imagine
therefore that this is the same for the jars that I now have. I can't
change my project to use Glassfish so after reading you Promoting_the_build
document I saw that you are using mvn.deploy.promoted instead of the
mvn.deploy.snapshot command that I was using. I'm assuming that as this is
the jar pushed to the website then this would work correctly in my
application.
However this command doesn't run and it appears that there's an issue with
the build as the some of the required dependencies in the build path are
missing. I can see that these dependencies are listing in the
dependencies.xml document but I cannot see why they are not downloaded.
It would be really helpful if I could speak to someone, perhaps over skype
about this and other issues I am facing. I'm only looking for around half
an hour and I'm sure it will be beneficial to us both in the long term.
Please let me know if this is possible,
All the best,
Anthony.
