Thanks for your answer!
The using file is referenced with a relative path - but actually by a
value returned by a Bean. It returns just a filename an the file with
that name and an .xhtml suffix is called then - so there are no
.jsf-pages. Perhaps I should have mentioned, that the rest of the
project works fine.
The pages sure are being processed (I guess) since all the other,
"native" components and tags work as they are supposed to (e.g.
<rich:calendar /> or <h:commandLink ... /> ).
