Re: JSF 2.0 & OSGI

By "OSGI friendly" I mean to adjust or give alternatives to some advanced internals that would allow to build and run JSF as OSGI Bundle.

For example, JSF uses advanced servlet features that the OSGI Http Services doesn't support, like the ServletContextListener for initialization.

I've tried (unsuccessfully) to do a manual initialization but its just too hard because I lack the knowledge of the JSF internals to do it properly (and to be honest, the OSGI knowledge to evaluate what needs to be done).

So I must admit that for this issue I'm over my head...

How is JSF OSGI unfriendly (I am an admittedly an OSGI-noob :)?
