Recently I have been testing JSF+Weld in Liferay Portal. The details of my test results are documented in the following issue:

Quick Summary:
Tomcat 7 -- Not working yet
GlassFish 3.3.1 -- Not working yet
JBoss 7.1.1 -- Working on the initial render of the portal page, but not on postback
Ken Finnigan and Brian Leathem are helping to try and resolve these problems. I'll provide a status update in the coming weeks.
