Since javax.faces.bean.ViewScoped has the same name as javax.faces.view.ViewScoped, then for consistency I think it might be best to keep the name as ManagedProperty. When given a choice by the IDE as to which one to import, the developer will see a strikethrough for the deprecated one and so it will be obvious which is the new one.
