were expecting to continue for Java EE 8. You need to
fill out the JCP forms as described below, as I can not

I'm happy to announce that the JCP ballot for JSR 366 (Java EE 8
Platform) has completed, and that JSR 366 has received unanimous
approval by the JCP EC, along with the other six other JSRs we
submitted in this first batch of new JSRs.
We are therefore now in the process of forming the new Expert Group.
If you would like to actively contribute as an expert member, please
visit the JCP JSR-366 site,
https://jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=366, and
complete the JCP application form (see the "I would like to join this
Expert Group" link). We plan to launch the new expert group once we
recover from JavaOne.
If you are currently on the users_at_javaee-spec.java.net list and wish
to remain there, it is not necessary to take any steps to receive
email from the new expert group. The new expert group mailing list
that we will set up will forward to the existing users list.
