Hi,
I noticed, these went only to Linda...
Maybe one of the committers to this could already be EG or at least JCP
members:
http://www.jclouds.org/
If not, trying to liaise with them or even get a representative to join the
EG (of EE7 or any Cloud-specific JSR we might find useful) seems useful.
Maybe our new CloudBees member also has connections with it?
Some more background info as to where PaaS and SaaS work best so far:
http://www.information-management.com/news/us-dominates-saas-10021132-1.html?ET=informationmgmt:e2557:2182980a:&st=email&utm_source=editorial&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=IM_Daily_091611
Furthermore after somebody at CloudBees joining the EG, is't there serious
interest from VMWare/CloudFoundry to join as well?
Although driven by a single company so far (similar to projects like
Maven or Jenkins for most contributions[?]) its home page claims it is an
open infractructure for PaaS driven by vmware:
http://cloudfoundry.org/
As there is nobody from vmware/SpringSource in the EG so far after they
joined EE6, maybe that question has already been raised/answered...?[?]
