Hi all,

Very happy to have received the first email of this EG triggering a new era
of Java EE and starting the work with you all.

My name is Antonio Goncalves, I am an individual based in Paris who has been
working with Java EE (J2EE at the time) since 1999. Former BEA Systems
employee I have worked with application servers for more than a decade now.
I am also the author of two books : Java EE 5 3rd ed. (written in French)
and Java EE 6 2nd ed. (English at APress) and speak frequently at JUGs and
conferences.

Despite this EG I've applied to be part of EJB 3.2 (Linda, I still haven't
received any notification, is the EG still being formed ?) and will be
having a close look at CDI 1.1 (I joined the ML).

Looking forward to a nice collaboration

Antonio
