Hi,

Ron Monzillo, the JASPIC spec lead, wants to keep this JASPIC
simplification layer feature in the JASPIC project. So, I moved it back
and added a proxy in our JIRA.

I think that means the JASPIC spec may deliver that new feature in a
Maintenance Release. I will keep you posted.
