PHEW!
Seems to work if I do this:
./bin/asadmin start-domain domain1 && ./bin/asadmin set server-config.network-config.protocols.protocol.http-listener-1.http.comet-support-enabled="true"
Stopping Glassfish and updating domain.xml does not work. The file is overwritten as soon as I start the glassfish server.
