We will keep it as it is, I means the command line things is quite
useful. We will just expose programatically what you did as well so
using GrizzlyWebServer it could be possible to add a WarAdapter can call
deploy() on it (or populate)

Yes something along that line. Except we won't get rid of
ServletAdapter. WarAdapter will create ServletAdapter (like your code is
doing).
