Hi all,
Is it time to go for a 1.0 release of cometd?
The jetty java code has been moved to the cometd.org repository
and is building against the jetty_at_eclipse releases and is looking
pretty stable.
The jquery client is also in the cometd.org repository and unreleased.
Dojo 1.3.0 is out and includes a good client.
I'm not sure of the state of the other servers, but hopefully
they are near to release quality (or should be flagged otherwise).
Can the perl, twisted and python server authors give us a status
dump?
I'd like to start a steady release schedule to get to a stable
1.0, starting with a 1.0.beta8 release this week.
I'd then propose doing betaX releases weekly until we no longer
have any API changing issues being raised, and then switch to
weekly 1.0.rc0 releases.
All OK with that?
